- Christine is married and lives in Kathie Road, Bedford with her husband
- She works as Assistant Director in a company of environmental consultants, specializing in air pollution
- Christine was born in London and came to Bedford to work
- She has a degree and PhD in engineering from Cambridge University and spent a year as a Fellow at Harvard University
- Christine represented Goldington ward between 1996 and 2000 when she lived in Goldington.
- Since 2002 Christine has represented the rural ward of Eastcotts which includes the villages of Cardington, Cotton End, Old Harrowden and Shortstown
