About Brickhill Parish Council

Brickhill has a Parish Council, created in 2004. In the initial elections in June 2004, 9 Liberal Democrats were elected, plus 4 Tories. In the 2009 elections all 13 councillors elected were Liberal Democrats.

Brickhill Parish council pays for the Police Post at St Mark's Church Community Centre; by regular contact with the local police, it aims to help reduce crime in Brickhill. It runs the successful Gathering on the Green events on Waveney Green. It is supporting the Brickhill Community Plan, to get the views of residents and change Brickhill for the better. It runs the Brickhill allotments. 35 years of action for Brickhill

Our success depends on the efforts of local people. Every FOCUS is delivered by a dedicated team of over 50 volunteers. Over the past 35 years several hundred people have been involved in bringing you your FOCUS. Thank you to all those deliverers, without whom the Lib Dem FOCUS Team Brickhill success story would not have been possible.

Big Lib Dem win in Brickhill in 2009

A big 'Thank You' to everyone who supported the Liberal Democrat FOCUS Team in the elections on June 4th 2009. Here in Brickhill the Lib Dems won both Borough Council seats: Charles Royden was re-elected and Wendy Rider was elected for the first time. Charles and Wendy says "We are here to serve you. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if wecan be of any help. Now the election is over, the real work continues of getting things done for local residents."

The Lib Dems also won the elections to Brickhill Parish Council, winning all 13 of the seats on the Council.
