December 2, 2006 2:57 PM

Michael & Christine Prepare for sleepoutChristine McHugh and Michael Headley joined the annual Sponsored Sleep Out last night at Bedford Modern School.

The aim of the Sleepout is to raise awareness of homelessness and raise funds for the Kings Arms Project in Bedford.

The Kings Arms Project aims to give homeless people a home and help put people back on their feet. In order to do this, the Project gives practical support and life skill training in the context of residential accommodation. The Project was started in 1990 and now offers care through 2 residential houses, the Nightshelter and the Hostel. These houses provide for up to 32 people a night, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

If you would like to sponsor Christine and Michael to add to the funds raised for the Kings Arms Project, please send any donation to Christine at 37 Kathie Rd, Bedford MK42 0QJ and she will pass it on or you can contact the The Kings Arms Project directly at The Courtyard, 98 The High St, Bedford MK40 1NN.
