Commenting on social media, Mayor Dave wrote: "It's World Environment Day today, and this year's theme is air pollution.'

"Air pollution is an extremely serious issue, and one of the main causes of local air pollution is transport. If you're interested in reducing or replacing your car usage in favour of public transport, for example, you can find up-to-date information about local bus services including timetables, maps, operators and more on the council website here:
