Coronavirus graphicThe Government has announced a new Coronavirus Tier Four and have cancelled the Christmas Bubbles for Bedfordshire and across the South East of England (including London).

The new Tier Four restrictions will come in from 12.01am on Sunday 20th December.

The new restrictions will be broadly equivalent to national restrictions which were introduced in England in November. Residents must stay at home, with limited exemptions, and non-essential retails and indoors gyms must close. People should work from home when they can, and should not enter or leave Tier Four areas. Communal worship may continue. The restrictions will last for two weeks and will be reviewed on 30 December.

With regard to Christmas, those in Tier 4 are no longer allowed to meet with any other households.

Details of the guidance over what you can and cannot do under Tier 4 are available on the government's website here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/tier-4-stay-at-home
