De Parys- Recent Consultations

15 Mar 2013

Cllr David Sawyer and Cllr Henry Vann have recently been running some consultations in localised areas around De Parys regarding exciting changes on Caves Lane, Pemberley Avenue and Campbell Road:

Caves Lane: Following contact by some residents on the North end of Caves Lane about parking in the turning circle at the very end of Caves Lane, there is a plan to possibly extend this scheme to the northern end of Caves Lane:

Pemberley Avenue: In partnership with Bedfordshire Police and Neighbourhood Watch, Bedford Borough Council are able to offer to residents concerned with speeding in their area the opportunity to join Community Speed Watch. David and Henry are also discussing the possibility of putting an advisory 20mph speed limit outside Bedford School.

Campbell Road: As part of the tree planting programme, David and Henry are interested to hear your views on planting more trees in Campbell Road. Following a visit to the area with an expert from the Councuil, a number of possible sites where identified: between numbers 21 and 23, between numbers 13 and 15, between numbers 3 and 5, between numbers 10 and 12, between numbers 18 and 18A and in the grass area near Bradgate Road.

If you have any views on these consultations, or are interested in joining the Community Speed Watch please get in touch with David or Henry and let them know. Thank you.
