Work done with Cllr Paul Prescods Ward Fund: Paul donated over £2000 last year to Wootton Upper School for their Phonics DVD. This is a brilliant project which will soon be available to help parents understand new methods of phonics teaching, so they can get involved more easily with their kids education. Other work includes donations to Wootton Brownies and Rainbow groups, and to Wootton Blue Cross Football Club for their clubhouse and new kit. Wootton Lower School also received ward fund money for new IT and garden equipment. If any groups or organisations have a project or need new equipment etc, please get in touch with Paul about a donation from this years ward fund.

Roads and Parking: The Manor Road and Fields Road signs have been fixed. Paul is also looking into introducing 'no verge parking' areas in Wootton, following complaints about severe damage to grass; please get in touch if you would welcome this in your area.

Fly tipping: Following Pauls report to the Council, the rubbish caused by fly tipping in Berry Wood has now been cleared. If you see anyone fly-tipping please either get in touch, or ring Bedford Borough Council directly on 01234 718060.
