Locked out of the Loos for over a Year

Putnoe Lib Dem Councillors have slammed the council for not getting the toilets in Mowsbury Park repaired for over a year.

The toilet block at the Wentworth Drive entrance to Mowsbury Park, beside the popular children's play area, were damaged by fire over a year a go. Since then the toilets have been locked out of use.

Putnoe councillor Sallyanne Smith said "This situation is totally unacceptable. This park is incredibly popular and the council have a responsibility to provide toilets that work. Many people are being prevented from properly enjoying the park because of the ridiculous delay from the council."

Ward colleague Cllr Michael Headley added "We have had many complaints from residents about this. The council should realise how essential toilet facilities are for many people. Summer is on its way and the council must get them repaired and open without further delay."
