Letter from Lib Dem Cllr Sarah-Jayne Holland:

"This is just a quick note to say thank you to all the people who took the time to write in and comment on how lovely The Embankment and Bedford Borough parks are looking.

We take great pride in our beautiful river and award-winning parks; four of our parks have been awarded Green Flag status which recognises and rewards the best green spaces in the country. This includes Priory Country Park which has been awarded Green Flag status every year for the last 11 years. We will continue to work hard to ensure that these remain pleasant places to visit, and as summer approaches I would encourage everyone to go out and enjoy them
