Attracting the big stars to Bedford
You may have seen last week it was announced Michael McIntyre was coming to the Bedford Corn Exchange. When tickets went on sale, they sold out in just seven minutes!
Jimmy Carr tickets went on sale on Friday morning.
We have a number of other big acts coming to Bedford this year, including Jack Dee, Chris Ramsey, Joel Dommett and John Bishop to name a few. We also have a number of rising stars including Kojo Anim, who got the 'Golden Buzzer' on Britain's Got Talent.
Of course, the Bedford Corn Exchange doesn't just do comedy. There are concerts, 'Murder Mystery' evenings and there is even an Easter Pantomime of Goldilocks and the three bears!
This April, we will welcome back the band of the Coldstream Guards who will again be performing a St George's Day Concert.

Bedford Festival Fringe, will also return between 21st and 26th July and is open for applications now.
The Place Theatre, The Quarry Theatre and Sharnbook Mill Theatre all have packed schedules providing entertainment in a more intimate setting.
Esquires is one of the UK's most beloved independent small music venues and has played host to some of the UK's biggest bands.
We are lucky to have so many great venues in Bedford Borough, there are literally too many to mention but isn't that a nice problem to have!
