Bedford Borough Council has confirmed that for those whose bin collection is due on Good Friday, 10th April, or on Easter Monday, 13th April, it will be collected it as usual.

The council also asks that if you have a confirmed/possible case of coronavirus, please take extra care to keep the collection crews safe. In particular, double bag all tissues & don't put it out for collection for 72 hours.

Green-lidded bin garden waste collections are suspended at this time, in order to enable the black and orange-lidded bin collections to continue as scheduled despite the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. You can find more information about waste collections, and check your collection day, on the council website here.

Bin collection crews are among the everyday heroes continuing to work on behalf of us all at an extremely challenging time, and Bedford Borough Liberal Democrats once again want to say a huge thank you to them for all of their efforts week in, week out.
