Spring arrived in dramatic fashion across Bedford Borough this week, with sunny skies and rising temperatures. As signs of spring have emerged over recent weeks, Liberal Democrat Councillors have been sharing those which have appeared in their respective wards, including many instances of planting paid for through their ward funds.

Kingsbrook Ward Cllr Dean Crofts is pictured here and on Kingsbrook Liberal Democrats' Facebook page here with flowers on the Harrowden Road/London Roard roundabout, in what is the second year of Cllr Crofts' and Cllr Patrick Solomon's ward-funded planting project.

Cllr Henry Vann has been taking photos of De Parys Ward in bloom, with a selection of photos here and here. These include daffodils planted thanks to ward funding from Cllr Vann and Cllr David Sawyer.

Eastcotts Ward Cllr Sarah Gallagher has also shared photos here of crocuses and daffodils across Eastcotts Ward, which were funded from her ward fund.
