Bedford Christmas Market and other Christmas events this weekend
This weekend Bedford will host a special Christmas Town Market in collaboration with Bedford Bid and Made in Bedford. As well as local bands and choirs providing entertainment, there will be local artists and makers with gifts and decorations.We will again see free family amusements rides for children throughout the town centre.
If you are in Bedford, do please visit the golden postbox in St. Paul's Square where local resident Steph Goldsmith has created another wonderful postbox topper.
Earlier this week the Christmas Lights were switched on at Waveney Green in Brickhill, you can see some photographs here, and at Wixams last weekend and you can see some photographs here.
There are still plenty of Christmas events taking place across the Borough, including Christmas Jumper Day today in support of Save the Children.
This evening (Thursday) the Cople Christmas Tree Lights switch-on will take place at All Saints Church at 6:30pm.
On Saturday Bromham Mill will be holding a Christmas Fest.
Also on Saturday BILTT have a Christmas Faye at Grange Academy in Kempston between 11am and 2pm.
Santa will be visiting the Panacea Museum this Saturday, and next Saturday.

On Sunday Great Barford Village Hall with host the Yule Craft and Wellbeing Event between 11am and 4pm.
Also on Sunday Scott Primary School will be holding their Christmas Fayre between 1-3pm and there will be a Messy Nativity at London Road Methodist Church between 2-4pm.
On Sunday the annual Santa Run will take place on the Embankment.
There will also be a number of Church Services this weekend including a Carol service in Willington on Sunday at 3:30pm and Carols by Candlelight in Cople on Sunday at 6pm.
