Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service to inspectall high-rise buildings across the county

Following the Grenfell Tower tragedy in 2017, Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service inspected all high rise buildings in the county to assure ourselves of their safety and give advice to residents.

Over the next two weeks crews from across the county will be re-visiting residential blocks to give advice to any new residents about how to stay safe in their high rise property and refresh the safety knowledge of residents who may have been visited before.

During the visits crews will also carry out safe and well visits to any residents that require one.

On Monday 11th February crews will visit:

  • Bury Court
  • Ashburnham Court
  • Richbell Court

On Tuesday 12th:

  • Chandos Court
  • Boswell Court
  • Priory Court

On Wednesday 13th:

  • Beckett Court
  • Roise Court
  • Frampton Court


On Thursday 14th:

  • Evesham Court
  • Upton Court
  • Westbury Court
  • Leighton Court

On Monday the 18th February crews will visit:

  • Acworth Court - Luton
  • Mossdale Court - Dunstable
  • Dorset Court - Stopsley

On Tuesday the 19th:

  • Kingsland court and Essex Court - Luton
  • Priory Heights - Dunstable
  • Heswall Court - Stopsley

On Wednesday the 20th:

  • Five Springs - Luton
  • Lea Bank - Dunstable
  • Penhill - Stopsley

On Thursday the 21th:

  • Wesley House - Luton
  • Home Court - Dunstable
  • Spandau Court - Stopsley
