Check Out Your Local Library this Half-Term
The summer half-term is nearly here, and there are lots of completely free activities for the kids across Bedford Borough's local libraries.
Arts and craft sessions at the libraries this half-term have a spring-time theme, with sunflower coasters, flower pot decoration, bookmark design, go outdoors planting, scratch art magnet making, and more.
Lego Club is also on during half-term, alongside Dice Warriors Games Club and Jigsaw Club across different libraries.
There are so many arts and crafts sessions and so much to do at the libraries over the half-term, all completely free. This is a great chance to pop in, get involved, and have a browse in your local library."
Bedford Central Library will also be hosting Airship Dreaming activities, in partnership with Bedford Creative Arts. From Tuesday 28th May to Sunday 2nd June, visitors to the library can take part in free drop-in activities re-imagining the R101 airship using the library's archive, model-making, augmented reality and mobile phones.
Bedford Central, Bromham and Wootton Libraries will all be open on Bank Holiday Monday, for LibraryPlus members. To find out more and sign up, just pop into your local library and speak to a member of staff.
