Chris Huhne MP Backs Christine

Liberal Democrat Shadow Environment Secretary, Chris Huhne MP gave his backing to Christine McHugh as Lib Dem candidate in this May's Bedford Borough Mayoral election.
Speaking at the North Bedfordshire Liberal Democrats' Annual Dinner he gave his backing to Christine McHugh and praised her and the local Liberal Democrats for their achievements.
Christine was 2nd in the last Mayoral elections, beating both the Labour and Tory candidates and is seen as a front runner to take on the Mayoral role.
