Due to the General Election last week, Christmas Jumper Day at Borough Hall was pushed back and is taking place today. Mayor Dave Hodgson is taking part alongside Bedford Borough Council staff, while Mayor Dave also helped serve up Christmas Dinner in the staff restaurant.

You can see a photo of him in action on his Facebook page here, where he commented:

"Due to the General Election last week, Christmas Jumper Day was pushed back at Borough Hall and is taking place today. I've joined Bedford Borough Council staff in wearing my Christmas Jumper for this festive fundraiser, with proceeds going to Save the Children and next year's Looked After Children Celebrations.'

"It was also Christmas dinner day in the Borough Hall restaurant, and I was pleased to join the team once again and help serve up!"
