Come on England!

St George's Flag Flying at Borough Hall on 23rd June 2010
Fingers crossed for Sunday!

The St George's Flag was flying at Borough Hall and Town Hall yesterday as England took on Slovenia in the crucial World Cup match in South Africa. It obviously brought the team good fortune, and it will be flying once again on Sunday when we take on Germany!

It's Armed Forces Week this week, and we will be flying the Armed Forces flag for the rest of the week until Sunday to show support for the men and women who make up the armed forces community. We will then be putting the St George's Flag back up for the match on Sunday, and keeping it up for as long as England remain in the tournament. I hope we see it flying until the day of the final on July 11th!
