Mayor Dave Hodgson has wished Eid Mubarak to all those celebrating Eid al-Adha today

On both Twitter and on his Facebook page, Mayor Dave wrote: "I want to wish Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating #EidAlAdha⁠ ⁠ today!"

Today is the first day of Eid al-Adha, the Festival of Sacrifice. It ends on Saturday 25th August.
