Bedford Borough Council in partnership with the Energy Saving Trust are hosting a Go Electric Showcase. The event aims to support local businesses, helping them understand the options available to Go Electric. Attendees will learn about a range of electric vehicles, charging options and the financial incentives available.

Independent specialists from the Energy Saving Trust will be giving a presentation, answering questions, and providing information. There will be an opportunity to view a range of electric vehicles and speak with current users. Visitors also will be able to test-ride ebikes and ecargo bikes.

Mayor Dave Hodgson said "This is a good opportunity for businesses to discover some of the options currently available. There are so many questions people have about this new technology. Bringing independent specialists and representatives from local businesses together will improve awareness of the benefits of electric vehicles."

The free-to-attend event will take place on Tuesday 15 November at Elstow Park and Ride. Presentations from the Energy Saving Trust will be at 11:30am and 1:30pm with lunch at 12:30pm.

All local businesses are welcome, however places are limited. Book now at https://GoElectric151022.eventbrite.co.uk
