Monday's Climate Change Committee heard about the exciting developments at Made in Bedford.

Made in Bedford is expanding to encompass a larger area within the Number 13 premises, extending their opening times, and will be running introductory plant-based cookery classes.

Mayor Dave Hodgson said "Made in Bedford has had a strong first year and these new developments are very exciting. The eco-café operates on the principles of supporting environmental sustainability and has been a welcome addition to Bedford Borough's food scene, with food cooked on site and a small menu to reduce food waste. They will now share their skills with plant-based cookery classes."

The first two plant-based cookery classes will take place on 22nd March and 5th April and tickets can be booked at https://www.bedfordcornexchange.co.uk/events/vegan-cooking-for-beginners/
