Get Along to the Bedford Italian Festival Today!

Today Bedford town centre plays host to the second Bedford Italian Festival. The event follows a tremendously sucessful inaugural festival in 2009, and the plans for this year are even bigger and better. There's a full day of events and activities, and a market selling Italian products and memoribilia, not to mention a range of food stalls offering delicious Italian food of course. With live music on stage in Harpur Square, an Italian car show and an appearance from the popular chef and TV personality Gino D'Acampo, it really does promise to be a great day of celebration of Bedford's proud Italian links and its Italian community, for everyone to enjoy. The weather forecast may be mixed, but that's been wrong before and regardless of the weather, I would encourage everyone to come along and enjoy the fun. I'll be there, and am looking forward to seeing the town centre transformed into an Italian 'festa' for the day.
