Get Along to the Big Christmas Lights Switch-On Tomorrow Night!

The Christmas Lights Switch-on is taking place tomorrow night, so get along to the Embankment to enjoy a sp ectacular Fire and Light Show as the Festive Season in Bedford town centre gets underway with a bang.

The festivities start from 7pm with fireworks set to music along the River Great Ouse. I'll be there to help Father Christmas flick the switch at what promises to be a fantastic, free family event.

This year's show is Aladdin-themed, and will be followed by the illumination of the Christmas lights across Bedford town centre and along the Embankment.

With December just a few days away, I'm looking forward to seeing our town centre lit up. I strongly recommend you come along and enjoy the free festivities and help kick start what should be an exciting run-up to Christmas in Bedford. While other areas have cut back on Christmas, we're continuing to do it properly in Bedford to support our local businesses and to help shoppers enjoy coming into Bedford during the festive season. We've also got the Victorian Christmas Fair coming soon on the 9th - 11th December, so make a date in your diary then, too!
