Mayor Dave Hodgson laid a wreath for the Highlanders

This morning Mayor Dave Hodgson laid a wreath of behalf of Bedford Borough Council at the Remembrance service for the members of the Highland Regiments at Foster Hill Road Cemetery.

We commemorate the young men of the Highland Regiments who died in Bedford from a measles epidemic whilst under training, and awaiting departure for the Front.
