Homelessness Awareness Week events 2019

It is Bedford's Homelessness Awareness Week next week, with lots of varied events.

On Monday, The Place Theatre has a production of On Hold, inspired by real-life experiences of families in temporary accommodation. Tickets are just £5 and available here.

On Tuesday, the ever popular SoupFest returns to Harpur Square between 11.30 and 3.30pm. More details here.

Also on Tuesday, until 15th December, The Higgins Bedford has an art and photography exhibition called 'Home' featuring work from those with lived experience of homelessness.

On Wednesday, there is an open morning at the new 'Somewhere Safe to Stay' Hub on Harpur Street at 10am. Open to all, but booking is essential.

On Thursday, there is a presentation on the law surrounding homelessness at Bedford School.

On Friday, there is a live journalism event 'Locked Out' at The Higgins Bedford between 2-4pm.
