Lib Dem Group Officers and Spokespeople Elected

The Bedford Lib Dems have elected their new officers and spokespeople on Bedford Borough Council.

The new line-up is:

Leader & Exec Spoke: Michael Headley

Deputy: Christine McHugh

Exec Member: Dave Hodgson

Chair: Pat Naughton

Whip: Paul Smith

Media Co-ordinator: Dave Hodgson

Scrutiny Spoke: Linda Weerasirie

Planning Spoke: Pat Naughton

Environment Spoke: Shirley McKay

Community & Culture Spoke: Paul Smith

Corporate & Resources Spoke: John Ryan

Additionally, Judith Cunningham has been elected as the Mayor of Bedford - the last Civic Mayor before the new style directly elected Mayor takes office in October.
