Sarah outside Cotton End School, where Average Speed Cameras will improve safety

Following a period of continued pothole repairs, Cllr Sarah Holland is pleased to report that Greycote has now been resurfaced. The road was closed for approximately 11 days in April, during which time it was resurfaced- hopefully bringing an end to the problems for local residents.

Average Speed Cameras are coming to Cotton End- after campaiging about the speeding issues in Cotton End, Sarah and Eastcotts Parish Council have both put funding towards average speed cameras which should be installed by September this year.

Sarah has received many complaints regarding inconsiderate parking on the double yellow lines outside Tesco in New Cardington. Following site visits, Highways are looking at the possibility of 'No Verge Parking' enforcement signs. This would mean anyone caught parking there will be issued a fixed penalty notice and will have to pay a fine.
