Look Out for Your Household Enquiry Form

9 Aug 2019

Bedford Borough Council has sent out this year's 'Household Enquiry Forms' to ensure everyone who has a right to vote, is on the Electoral Register.

The Council is required by law to carry out what is known as an 'Annual Canvass' every year. This involves writing to every household in the Borough, so local residents can check that the correct individuals are registered to vote at their address and, if necessary, make any changes.

Please check the details for your household and confirm no changes or any changes you have by responding either by text, online, or by phone. If we do not receive a response from a household we are legally required to send up to three reminders. So, respond now to save you time and save the Council money.

Philip Simpkins, Chief Executive of Bedford Borough Council "It really is important to take a minute and check these details, and respond to us. It is quick and easy to do, via text, online, or by phone. Your vote matters; make sure you are registered."
