Mayor Dave Hodgson has written to all the primary schools in Bedford Borough inviting pupils to help design his Christmas card.

Mayor Dave said "Amidst all the turmoil of this year, I'd like to inject a little bit of normality and I'm inviting all primary-aged children to help design my 2020 Christmas card, with the theme of "A Happy Christmas".

Entries should be on an A4 piece of paper created using paint, crayons or felt-tip pens. Drawings which contain some bright colours will make a good design.

When the children have finished their drawings, please write the following details on the back of each picture: name, age, class and school name. Home-schooled children are also welcome to join in and put 'home-schooled' instead of the class and school name.

The closing date to receive the pictures is Friday 30th October 2020.

Please send entries to Mayor Dave Hodgson, Bedford Borough Council, Cauldwell Street, Bedford, MK42 9AP.
