McHugh: Every Vote will Count!

The Lib Dem campaign for Mayor of Bedford continues to gather pace and a close result is expected tomorrow - but only if people turn out to support Christine. Over the past 7 days more and more people have pledged to back Christine McHugh, supporting her campaign for Zero Waste, Zero Tolerance of Graffiti and a Zero Tax increase for local residents.

"Please make sure you vote tommorrow" was the last minute message from Christine.

Christine said:

"Although some of the odds predicted by local bookmakers should be treated sceptically, the fact that we were closing in fast on the favourite last weekend is unmistakeable. We've really got the momentum behind us, and will continue to work flat out to persuade people that we will be the Best for Bedford."

"Other candidates have seen their support split - we're at polling day united, campaigning hard and really looking forward to an excellent result tommorrow."
