Nominate someone for the annual Bedford Borough Sports Awards

The Bedford Sports and Physical Activity Awards have been running for over 25 years and it is once again time to make your nominations.

The Awards have been presented to hundreds of local clubs, teams, and individuals to recognise their dedication and many achievements. This year marks a return to an in-person ceremony at the Bedford Corn Exchange on Monday 5 December 2022.

This is an opportunity to recognise the commitment given, with great enthusiasm and passion, by so many people in Bedford Borough, to sport and physical activity - bringing about so much joy and pleasure for many in our communities.

Please consider that person or team / group that makes a difference for you and or your community - they deserve it.

There are a wide range of award categories for individuals, teams, clubs, and organisations including Coach, Unsung Hero and the Young Volunteer of the Year. There is also a Service to Sport Award, which recognises significant contributions to sport over a long period of time.

Everyone is invited to make nominations for those they feel deserve recognition. The list of categories, along with nomination forms and all details, are available at: www.bedford.gov.uk/sportsawards. The deadline for nominations is Tuesday 15 November 5pm.
