4 May 2021

The election for the Bedfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner will take place on Thursday 6 May. Make sure you cast your vote and make your voice heard.

There will be Coronavirus safety measures in place at polling stations, to help you stay safe. These will include social distancing and when you go inside, you will be expected to wear a face covering like you do when you go into shops or on public transport (unless exempt).

Hand sanitising stations will also be in place at polling stations, and voters are being asked to please bring their own pens if possible.

Terry Collins, Local Returning Officer for Bedford Borough said "Measures will be in place across polling stations to ensure that they are COVID-safe and voters can be confident about taking part in this election on Polling Day. Take this opportunity, cast your vote and make your voice heard."
