Real Bread Week 2020: Together We Rise

Today marks the start of Real Bread Week 2020, which runs until 1st March.

To celebrate local charity Companions Read Bread demostrated some of their skills and showed off their bread in the Harpur Centre.

Companions Real Bread is a growing community gathered around a commercial Real Bread bakery, supporting ex-offenders to resettle effectively into our local communities and not reoffend. They are based at the bakery behind The Gallery Cafe, 7 Howard Street, Bedford, MK40 3HS, where you can buy their bread, have a cuppa while you watch them make it through the window, and even join in the occasional workshop.
