As you may have already heard this year's River Festival has been postponed until 17 and 18 July 2021.

Mayor Dave Hodgson has made a short video explaining the reasons why the River Festival and the Kite and Motoring Festivals have been postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. You can see the video here.

The Council is working with national government and the health services to make sure we continue to provide essential services, particularly to the most vulnerable. As a result, the Council has taken the decision to postpone the River Festival and Kite and Motoring Festival this year.

More information about the entertainment for the 2021 Bedford River Festival will be released over the next few months via the website https://riverfestival.bedford.gov.uk/ and there will be lots to look forward to.
