Simon Hughes Launches Christine's Mayoral Challenge

Simon Hughes, Liberal Democrat Party President, launched Christine McHugh's Mayoral Campaign on Friday.
Simon Hughes said "It was great to join in the launch of Christine McHugh's campaign for mayor of Bedford. This year Christine is very well placed to win. We had a great result last time, but this time we can come top of the poll."
Christine McHugh was second in 2002, finishing ahead of Tories and Labour. Voting this year will be on May 3rd.
