Tackling Illegal Parking Outside Our Schools

Organised by Local Councillor Tim Hill, Elstow Primary School saw a high visibility events against illegal parking outside the local school.

These events saw local Police, parking officers, and Portfolio Holder for Transport Cllr Charles Royden all in attendance, observing parking behaviour and challenging those parking inconsiderately.

Cllr Tim Hill said 'The problem of illegal parking outside schools is a common one, and can cause chaos for local residents in the surrounding streets, is inconsiderate to residents and other parents, and can be a real safety hazard for everyone dropping off their children.

I am very grateful to members of our local Police force, parking team, and Cllr Royden for coming out to Elstow and being part of this action.'
