Following announcements from the Government regarding new national restrictions to control the spread of coronavirus, The Higgins Bedford will temporarily close from Thursday 5 November until at least Wednesday 2 December 2020.

To help slow the spread of coronavirus, museums are among the venues being asked to close, alongside non-essential shops and leisure centres.

The Higgins Bedford will be getting in touch with anyone who has booked a ticket to visit the museum during this time.

The museum will be posting content from its collections on social media throughout this second lockdown, and we look forward to welcoming you back as soon as we can. Until then, the Council urges everyone to follow the guidance; stay at home, protect the NHS, and save lives.

Please visit The Higgins Bedford website https://www.thehigginsbedford.org.uk/ follow the museum on facebook or twitter, or subscribe to the e-newsletter at www.bedford.gov.uk/stayconnected for the latest updates and to access online activities and information about our collections and exhibitions.
