Update from Kingsbrook
Action Update
- An extra £1m was added to the budget for pavement resurfacing this year by Liberal Democrats. In Kingsbrook, pavement improvements are planned for London Road on the southwest side between Ivy Road and Helena Road. We have also asked for work to be done in front of the Harrowden Road shops where water collects when it rains.
- Thanks to a contribution from Cllr Anita Gerard's ward fund, the Abbey School farm is set to continue in the near future
- The FOCUS Team have asked for action to repair the play area in Kathie Road. The play area is not the responsibility of the Borough Council, but is still the responsibility of the developer.
- We have asked for repairs to one of the play areas in Jubilee Park, including to the soft carpet, following a serious incident of vandalism.
