Ukraine flag flying at the Old Town Hall

Mayor Dave Hodgson, Councillors and residents will be holding a silent vigil for Ukraine on the anniversary of the Russian invasion on Friday 24 February at 6pm at Harpur Square in Bedford.

Attendees will be encouraged to shine a light, using their smartphones, attendees will also be encouraged to wear blue and yellow or Ukrainian national dress.

Bedford Borough Council will be lighting the Corn Exchange yellow and blue and also flying the Ukrainian flag at the Old Town Hall.
