We need to have a properly funded police force

Bedford Borough Liberal Democrats are calling for more funding for our police, and have launched a petition calling for £300million extra.
The problem with police funding is nationwide, but Bedfordshire Police particularly suffer from severe underfunding in comparison to other police forces, as they are considered a small rural force!
