Weekly Coronavirus Figures for Bedford Borough Published

The latest weekly coronavirus statistics for Bedford Borough have been published. The figures show that in the seven days up to January 3rd:

  • 4,263 people have been tested (1,103 fewer than the previous week)
  • There were 1,556 Covid-19 cases (429 more than the previous week)
  • The weekly positive cases per 100,000 population was 897.9 (up from 650.3 in the previous week)

As the snapshot makes clear, the number of positive cases have continued to increase in spite of fewer tests taking place over the festive period.
