Weekly Coronavirus figures for Bedford Borough published

The latest weekly coronavirus statistics for Bedford Borough have been published.
The figures show that in the seven days up to May 16th:
- 1,848 people were tested (298 more than the previous week)
- There were 215 Covid-19 cases (69 more than the previous week)
- The weekly positive cases per 100,000 population was 124.1 (up from 84.3 in the previous week
It also shows that 90,613 adults, or 57.1% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with at least one dose by May 9th. Meanwhile 44,199, or 27.9% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with 2 doses by May 9th.
