Weekly Coronavirus figures for Bedford Borough published

The latest weekly coronavirus snapshot for Bedford Borough has been published.

The figures show that in the seven days up to August 15th:

• 7,678 PCR tests were taken
• There were 499 Coronavirus cases (75 less than the previous week)
• The weekly positive cases per 100,000 population was 288 (down from 331.2 in the previous week)

It also shows that 122,183 adults, or 76.4% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with at least one dose and 102,835, or 64.3% of the 16+ population, had been vaccinated with 2 doses by August 8th.
