This Christmas please give the ultimate gift - by joining the stem cell register. Every 20 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with a blood cancer such as leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma. Only around 30% of people with blood cancer find a matching donor within their family. Thanks and praise for all involved in floods response as severe warnings are lifted
Local Liberal Democrats have given their thanks to everyone who was part of the response to the flooding in Bedford Borough over recent days, as the Environment Agency lifted the severe flood warnings in place last night (Saturday, 26 Dec).
