Mayor Dave Helps Re-Open Queens Drive Post Office
Mayor Dave Hodgson helped re-open the Post Office at Queens Drive Shopping Parade yesterday in Goldington, Bedford. Mayor Dave joined the Postmaster and colleagues in the Londis store to celebrate the reintroduction of the range of Post Office services, at the same location as the branch that closed with the former shop on the site.

Mayor Dave Hodgson Announces New Cabinet Following Re-election for Fourth Term
Following his recent re-election for a fourth term, Mayor Dave Hodgson has announced his new Cabinet. The new Bedford Borough Council Executive features one Independent and three Labour members in addition to 4 Liberal Democrat Councillors, reflecting the Liberal Democrats' increased strength in becoming the largest group on the Council following their six gains in the May 2nd Council elections.
