Liberal Democrats in Bedford Borough are demanding that the government injects money into Public Health services so that parents and newborn babies are supported in relation to Health visiting services in Bedford Borough.
Bedford Borough Council has awarded £5,000 to Thurleigh Playing Field through the Rural Grants Scheme to help towards improving the site's facilities and making the area more accessible.
Hard hats and high visibility vests were deployed for a special visit to Rogers Court in Bedford; a planned 20-unit facility providing housing for those at risk of rough sleeping or those finding themselves homeless. This will be opened to residents next month and be an important part of the Borough's strategy to aim to make rough sleeping a thing of the past.
