"What happens to the innocent families who are compulsorily evicted under this process?" asks Luton Liberal Democrat Councillor David Franks. "It is an evil plan."

We have a long history of campaigning for a fair deal for Bedford Borough on health. It is essential that our residents can easily access the health services they need. The best way to do this is for the government to ensure that health infrastructure is in place before housing is built.
Bedford Borough Council is calling on motorists to help in a clampdown on road users who throw litter from their vehicles. The council has been collecting large volumes of roadside litter each day during targeted litter picks in February and March. Council crews have to regularly carry out this dangerous task alongside major routes such as the A421 and A6.
Mayor Dave Hodgson and Bedford Borough Liberal would like to thank everyone who has signed the petition for a fair deal for our health services - Over 1,000 residents have already signed - and there is still time for you to add your name, if you haven't already, at www.bedfordlibdems.org.uk/GPShortage
Despite challenges from extreme government cuts and record levels of inflation, we will always provide quality support for people who need it most and protect frontline services. Below are just some of the things we have achieved and our plan for the future working with the Council, local businesses and residents.
The flowers along The Embankment in Bedford are now in full bloom, leaving the picturesque area bursting with colour and vibrancy.
