There are an estimated 2,678* unpaid carers in Bedford. That's 2,678 people who spend their life putting other people first and looking after their loved ones. Yet many people still don't identify themselves as carers - they simply see themselves as spouses, parents, sons, daughters or friends.
Network Rail are holding a public information event about the works they are carrying out on the Bromham Road Bridge later this month, that will last until 2020. The Network Rail event will take place on Tuesday 11th June between 3pm and 7pm at The Bedford Centre Hotel on St. Mary's Street.
