Mayor Dave Hodgson has slammed the government's decision to close Bedford Magistrates' Court, saying it will have damaging, long term effects on access to justice for local residents.
Mayor Dave Hodgson visited Bromham Lower School yesterday morning, where he met pupils and staff and talked to them about the move to a two-tier schools system. For Bomham Lower, this will mean current Year 3 pupils staying on in September 2017 as the school's first Year 5 pupils, who will then stay on into Year 6 in 2018/19 as the school becomes a fully fledged 4-11 primary school.
