Bedford Borough Council is making funding available to support local groups and organisations to help address Coronavirus vaccine inequalities and to encourage further take-up across all age and ethnic groups, geographical areas and vulnerable groups.
The Higgins Bedford have joined in with the Summer of SEND to deliver a number of free and fun online activities for children and young people with disabilities and/or special educational needs, which will run from 26th July - 23rd August.
Over 40,000 tulip bulbs were planted along the Embankment back in Autumn, getting ready for the Spring flowering season.
From Saturday 11 to Saturday 18 February, families are invited to visit Bedford Borough Libraries for free fun craft activities. Bedford Central, Bromham, Kempston, Putnoe, and Wootton libraries all have activities planned. Crafts include; creating bug masks, paper bag dinosaurs, and Valentine's Day Cards. There will also be colouring and Lego clubs in all the libraries. Bedford Central Library has a special half-term Story Time on Wednesday 15 February 11:30am - 12:00pm.
